My first (real) attempt at polymer clay sculpture.

The Unstoppable Mr. 'K'
in Zocalo v2.0
I decided to sculpt something for my girlfriend's birthday. While I've played around with polymer clay, I've never actually done anything substantial with it until now.
I decided to create a sculpture of Pepe the King Prawn, a Muppets character that originally appeared in the short-lived TV series, "Muppets Tonight".
The sculpture is based on a scene from the movie Muppets From Space (not an Oscar-winning film by any stretch of the imagination; but there are some hilarious Muppet moments).
I think it turned out pretty well for a first try.

Polymer clay won't dry out at room temperature, but can be baked in a home oven (at 275 degrees F) to harden it. Both of those features make it ideal for amateur/home use.
The brand I use is called Super Sculpey.
