Just an update about PC that I cleaned up last sunday: (and installed better browser)
Not single crash after it.
Before cleaning it had been chrashing even after only use of few minutes. (and it had been in use only about ten days)
And Mr. Fury: That computer had been used with firewall and anti-virus software.
So I'll trust Microshit's security when pigs have wings and they can fly.
Before that I prefer using more secure programs.

Mozilla FB works fine, Better then IE and netscape. I like the tab feature, which IE does not have. But one thing. I cant seem to change the Icon size.
Try right clicking on the toolbar and choose customize or something. Then you should be able to choose between big or small icons. I think that's the way to do it.

See, now we're getting into opinions and personal preferences... :)
And I assume that by 'mouse gestures' you were referring to the ability to right click and move the mouse left/right to navigate, I assume, whoever said that? Unless you're using a 2-button mouse, that's just a little slower--and more annoying--than hitting the bottom left/right buttons. :) Those things just annoy me...

Wow, that's bizarre. :)
I thought you said you had trouble getting the themes to change?
Did you import a profile from anywhere else?
You could try deleting the firebird directory in program files and also the firebird directory under Documents and Settings, and then reinstalling it. That might fix it.

"Unless?" Whaddya mean, unless?? Who on Earth wouldn't be using a mouse with at least two buttons? Other than, y'know, Mac users, and even then, only those who don't have the sense to get a real mouse.
Actually, I do happen to agree with you in that mouse gestures really aren't that much easier or more convenient than the nav buttons, but I like knowing the feature's there if I ever decide to use it.
I suppose that it is time to try Firebird... again!
The annoying thing about Firebird is that, without plugins, it opens pages in a new window rather than a new tab (like opera).
I've used opera and loved it, but there were too many problems with the sites I needed to use, so I'm back to IE, this time with Avant Browser. Tabbed browsing, pop-up blocker, flash filter and excellent proxy support. Well worth a look - http://www.avantbrowser.com/
I use Opera because it got all I need in one package, so I didn't really like the idea in firebird with all the plugins. Sure firebird can get more things in than Opera because of the plugins and you can choose what features to have. Opera has also improved it's compability with site since version 7.00.
Mouse gestures I use to the fullest. I like how I can open a new empty tab(window) with on little move of the mouse and a opens a copy of the site you're on with another gesture.
My mouse came pre-mapped with back and forward on the secondary buttons... any PC I plug it into (haven't tried pre-ME PCs, but I don't know anyone who owns a pre-ME PC :p) just accepts the buttons as working, too.
And, wow that's a lot of mouse gestures... and I know I'm just being stubborn now, but they're not that useful. To me, it's the same amount of work to click a link and then click the original page in the taskbar, as it is to click and drag the mouse in a U... plus, I've got some handy keyboard features... little scroll wheel on the side I use to scroll between pages, almost 15 keys that are supposed to be bound to other things like My Computer and My Music, that I have bound to other stuff. Actually, had, on my good PC, that is... didn't bother to set that stuff up here on the HP, because I didn't expect to be stuck on it for so long. :p

You eejit, I have a four button mouse w/ scroll wheel. That's why I said mouse gestures are useless.
Gotcha.
But there are plenty more gestures than just forward and back, and for those with only the typical 2+scroll mouse, mouse gestures are useful.
Bah, Screw Firebrid. I'm going with Normal Mozilla.
Good man. :)
