    Looks interesting. I loved [i]Pitch Black[/i]. It'll be neat to see where they take the character in the trilogy they're planning.

    I liked Pitch Black and think that the premise for the trilogy is interesting.

    Two minor gripes, however...

    1) I'm annoyed that the beginning of the trailer is basically the same as the flash movie on the Pitch Black website... reusing the same imagery and not really advancing the story. This may be a good thing to some people, however, because it only gives us a preview and builds up anticipation without giving up too much. I don't like it because I'm into spilers.

    2) Last week I read somewhere that they'd be airing the Chronicles of Riddick trailer before LotR:RotK... saw it last night, but there was no Riddick trailer... such a disappointment. RotK was great, though. :)

    Anyway, looks promising enough, it still has the same style and feel as the original movie.

    It's not exactly a sequel as much as a continuation of the story, in a manner of speaking. Based on what I've read, Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick have the same relationship as The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

    So while not a direct sequel, it will probably build (somewhat) on what happened in Pitch Black, and treat Pitch Black as an introduction into that 'universe'.

    I thought it was bad eventhough I didn't expect anything more than action.
