I get the feeling they can do some DNA testing from Uday...
They've already confirmed it's him. The DNA testing has already been done.

Hehe, that's what happens when I turn on my TV 5 seconds after I post..
And firing of guns into the air, from what I hear.

Should bush be getting in Trouble for starting the war too. Consitering that it was illegal?
Anyway he got cought becuase he was stupid, you dont hide in your fucking home town.
And some how I dont see him going to the international court either.
The trial should be fun as well.
Now, if we got Osama bin Ladin, the man who provoked this whole round of unpleasantness in the first place....

I'm curious about what will happen now. Will the terrorists in Iraq continue as they have been, stop, as their symbolic head has been captured, or up the ante in a revenge move?

I think we'll see a lot of revenge style attacks now.
Some how this is just going to start more violance in Iraq.

Define illegality? check the concept of soverignty.. read the UN charter, actually read it and notice that nothing is mentioned about needing a UN resolution to go to war.
Lastly he will go to the Iraqi's for trial.. and probably be shot, considering the number of mass graves they are finding, containing 1000's of bodies at a site, bodies of men, women and children.
Actually do some reading of source material and not just leftist op ed pieces will ya?
Even if he spends the rest of his life in jail, chances are it will be a very nice jail with all the comforts of a mansion.

No this isnt one of those Napoleon in exile deals, this is going to be like Romania or certain other places, the new government will kill him, to prove a point, to satisfy the victoms of his regieme and to elimate a potential rival for power.
He's a dead man
Sides revenge attacks are easier to deal with then kidnapping attacks aimed to free him.
I just hope he doesn't end up like Milosevic. From what I've read, he has quite a nice life even though he's supposed to be on trial, and if he gets convicted, his "jail" will be very comfortable.

This is one very negative thing with these "civilized" societys.
Criminals and those who doesn't obey international rules have better conditions and treatment than what's given to their victims.
Little same thing with China.
They're occupying Tibet and are constantly threatening Taiwan but still UN and "western countries" doesn't do nothing to it.
And that's because of those "economical things. (shows watch the real priority of things in world politics: Money instead of equality and human rights)

I'd look at it more in terms of China having a large nuclear stockpile and the largest Armed Forces on the planet.

That, too, is quite a deterrent.
Indeed.
I just hope that they put him on trial but I'm nt sure if it would be beter done in Baghdad or at the Hague
Just let the arabs do the trial and then execute him.
If the trial would be in US or Europe, we would certainly see more terrorist attacks.
And there was much rejoicing.

Which, when the bullets came down, resulted in many "unexplained" casualties...

...which were later attributed to American AK fire. ;)

Yeah that's what I always think when I read about people firing guns into the air in celebration. It seems incredibly stupid to me. It's like that time the wedding party shot down a light plane in Afghanistan.
;)
Merry Fuckin Christmas!
