I dunno about the posters, but this link which came from the index page link above has a picture of the VORCON convention in Pamona. If you look closely behind her in the picture, you can see the Sierra FX stations where we had the demo set up for people to play the early alpha...

  • I have this memory haunting about a B5 set visit on Finnish television.

I'm quite certain that it was on a tv program called "Hollywood Express" And there was these finnish (? can't be sure) fans visiting the sets and they even acted in a scene where they played the captain (don't remember if it was s1 or s2) and then they got a tape where Delenn's talk was edited in the same scene.

This memory has been haunting me for a while. When I few years ago asked if my brother remembered anything about the show, but we had a little disagreement because he remembered it as a Deep Space 9 set visit. But I was sure that it was a Minbari with the captain.

Any Finns remember anything about this?

No memory of such a thing whatsoever. What you described was quite close to this 'Haluatko filmitähdeksi?' show quite a few years back, however.

People chose who/what they wanted to act on any tv-show / movie and they made it possible. Basically just shooting some lines in a prop set and editing it in in the actual film footage.

I seem to recall that the gal wanting to play Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2 did quite a good scene.
