This reminds me of a characteristic that I enjoy in simulations that provide it.
The realism of "friendly fire".
It is fun to use this as a tactic against a larger opponent when they continue to fire at you, even though you are behind or below a projection of their geometry...
Which in turn, should subtract from their shields or hull integrity...

Good lord those are some old memories. I remember it all too well. I was just a lurker back then. I'm glad I decided to get off my but nad post something. It was one of the best decisions I have made.

It was a mix of the trailers set to some White Zombie. IIRC. It was quite good.
