    Biggles - one site I go to I have to tell Mozilla to supress plugins becuase the site just loves putting ads with sound in them.

    There's a script you can get for mozilla that blocks flash. It's very handy.

    I use Multizilla - I can block plugins (all), javascript, images, subframes, metaredirects on a per-tab basis - real nice. That way I can block Flash on annoying sites and not on non-annoying sites :D
