    Shut up and play, you lucky bastards, while I sit here on my old HP, preparing to send my mobo to NewEgg for RMAing. It's f0x0red so bad... and I've spent the last 3 months thinking all my problems were related to my HARD DRIVE! I CANNOT install Windows, my PC randomly restarted all the time and closed programs before I tried reinstalling, and all my drives would randomly start and stop working. STUPID ASUS!

    I've been busy conversing with the naysayers at the Ion Storm and Eidos forums (intstead of working on my Wednesday Care Bears presentation). Don't listen to the misguided words of the panic-mongers. They say the same thing over and over and over again despite facts existing to the contrary. The demo is underwhelming, but there are factors that went into that that don't reflect the full product, such as lack of orientation into the world and the pre-set biomods.


    Just remember, about everyone that has played the entire game loved it. And everyone that hated the demo liked the first game for bizzare reasons.

    When you do download the demo, be sure to uncheck the "read only" box for the user.ini file[b]S[/b] in My Documents and C:\Programs\ whatever folder the game is installed to. If you don't, then your controls won't save properly between loads and area transitions.

    To bad the frelling thing wont work on Geforce MX based cards one of which I so happen to possess.......Oh well, Call to Duty works great and it rules!!!!!

    Bah, I started playing Fallout II a few days (!!) back for the first time and it rocks. :p

    It's always a good strategy to keep those brilliant games you never have time for waiting on the shelf for those moments you actually _CAN_ spare the time... ;)

    Fallout II is a fantastic game. I loved my gauss rifle and marksmanship skill so very much. Shoot 'em in the eyes! :D

    Yup, Biggles has a point there. Fallout rocks. I played the first one through and loved it in almost every aspect, didn't have the tenacity to start playing 2 immediately afterwards, though. :) Took me a year or two but I'm here now. :)

    And yes, always shoot the eyes. :) Or Thrust or Swing or whatever. A nice vertical swing to the eyes with a knife does a lot to one's vision. :) The Alien blaster in F1 rocked! Wonder if there's anything like that in F2, though...

    The gauss rifle is pretty much along those lines in F2. By the end of the game, one shot to the eyes with that and they'd explode. :)
