Red Dwarf Season 3 is out on DVD

Last week, Red Dwarf season 3 was released on DVD, and I have to say that the BBC have not disappointed so far with their releases of the classic old material. The episodes have been remastered, and for purists, thankfully the original material, not the CGI versions of the episodes have been used.

The audio commentaries are for once a joy to listen to, there seems to be a great rapport between Chris Barrie, Danny John Jules, Craig Charles, Robert Llewellyn and Hatty Hayridge.

Extras, I haven't checked yet, but the description of them sounds good.

    Its also funny to check the special features and see that they have a special edition of the Backwards episode.....running...you guessed it...Backwards.

    The peak of which has to be the guy telling off Kryten and Rimmer saying. "You are a stupid, square-headed, bald git, aren't you? I ain't pointing at you. I'm pointing at you. but I'm not actually addressing you. I'm addressing the one prat in the country who's bothered to get hold of this recording, turn it round, and actually work out the rubbish that I'm saying. What a poor, sad life he's got!" :)

    I believe I saw that one...as I recall for some reason they could only do things in reverse, but they couldn't figure out why, which was not too big a deal until one of them decided to go #2 behind a tree.......
