Actually the region 4 has been around since the 21st of this month. Though its been encoded in NTSC format [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/frown.gif[/img]. So anyone who plays it make sure that you have NTSC playback available.

Did you guys know that it took NINE HOURS for one frame to render? [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/eek.gif[/img] Geez! (They had like 800 something processors rendering this thing too! At 800,000 polygons per character....geez!)

Yeah. That's quite some rendering time.
They only had 800 computers going at night when all the artists went home. During the day they only used the renderfarm, which has about 500 computers.

Simple explanation for the RCE thingy. Like all american companys they want to keep places like the UK a "high Profit Zone" They are achiving this for example by releasing the 2 film disc in the states as 2 seperate disks here in the UK.....go figure......
