    Played the demo and I though it was ufo ½. It lacks many features that were in the original...:(

    It's quite good... I just hate those marine voices and it's way too simple compared to the original UFO series.

    Speaking as someone who works in a computer games shop, I've refunded far more copies of "UFO: Aftermath" than I've sold.

    as someone who stayed up all night playing Ufo2: I partly love this game, partly hate it. It's great fun (once you realize how to lower the difficulty), and reminds me of the good old times, and on the one hand it's even good that you don't have to care about base building anymore, but on the other hand, when you're base is attacked by aliens, you're wishing you'd have security stations ;)
    also, it has a lot of weapons (real world weapons), but i mostly just equip my soldiers with advanced Plasma Rifles, and they kill everything with one shot (when all of them shoot at once, that is ;) )

    hmmm... now Im left trying to decide what game to get for my 4 day weekend (these fires have some small benifit).
