Anyone know a good place to get a cheap (read: free) blog?

On a seemingly unrelated, yet in truth deeply related note, this Friday was the 2/3-year anniversary of George's death... :(

    I've got a ten page... "rant" is the best word to describe it... which I almost posted here merely to get it out, but decided not to, which was probably a good idea. It started out being about a letter I considered sending to Argone's family, and ended with random observations about Nietzschian philosophy, death, alienation, and futility... yeah. It was written over a period of four days--including today and last Friday, because I've been stuck home with wicked migraines--so my train of thought was terribly incoherent anyways. My life isn't nearly as bad as I make it out to be... it's just that it feels like it's not my life, like I'm the outside, looking in. I see my potential--and not the BS guidance counselors and parents are always talking about--and it pisses me off that it is in no way beyond my grasp at this very moment... there is no reason I can't seize it and do the one thing I want to do, have always wanted to do, but I don't just f*cking reach for it...
    I am so far beyond anyone else my age in terms of wisdom, that it just blows me away to walk amongst my classmates, and witness their childishness, their ignorance, their stupidity. I feel like a God, in that my higher understanding of things totally isolates, no, alienates me, from everyone else, even those I consider friends; yet at the same time, I secretly wonder if perhaps I'm missing something, if perhaps I'm just deluding myself with visions of grandeur. Sometimes, I feel like a messiah, one so ahead of my time that none can comprehend my vision, and sometimes, I feel like a roach, too small to truly understand what's going on around me. I have no one I could discuss anything with, nowhere to go when I need to escape my humanity; no lonely promontory to stand on and scream out at the heavens from.
    Nothing but apathy to shield me from the cold, ignorant world, and my writing...

    I've considered getting a weblog before, a place where I could vent it all, let out this steam before I overheat and do something irrational, but never really taken the initiative. Much as I would love to create a website to express it all, I fear the depth and sheer scope of my vision would never fit into any transferable medium, and even if it would, I have no means by which to pay for it.
    But I got to thinking when I remembered George, about one of the last things he ever said to me, on the boards of my failed B5 RPG... "If you don't keep writing I will hunt you down!!! You have a natural gift use it! If not for yourself then for me, it will give me something good to read in the future." That got me to thinking... thinking that it doesn't really matter if anyone understands me. It'd be good just to get it all out... And now, if I continue any longer, I fear I'm going to write another ten pages... :(

    Didnt check yours out, Tyvar (Sorry! :p), but I read all the way through SB's, and was quite impressed... and the intro to his website was definetely the highlight of my [sick] day. :)

    Eh, mines just me being silly, goofy, occasinaly beligerant, and seriously in need of some TLC but never getting any :)

    yeah i have a blog, but nothing ever happens so i don't write in it, lol

    i ended up just hosting my own instead of using livejournal or xanga or any of those silly things. it was pretty easy to set up if you've got a unix box + php + mysql

    I've been getting behind recently, and I've got 2 or 3 drafts to finish and publish, so don't be surprised to find something I posted a day or two after the date it's listed under. :p

    I might, depending on how much bandwidth and space gets taken up, its technically a commercial server that i get space on in exchange for adminning it.
