    cylons are there in the trailers... just because you haven't seen them (or recognized), doesn't mean they're not there ;)

    I'm still a bit sceptical, as to the potential of bullshitting it that Ron Moore has there...

    But the effects look awesome... and i can't wait for when i have a job and can buy me
    a console that i could play the BSG game on it :)

    Personally, I think its gonna suck hard. They're not even staying true to the series! Its NOTHING like the show was.

    it's not a remake, they're attemting to RESTART a totally new show based in the Battlestart Galactica Universe. This series won't even take place in the same time as the old one. personally i think it's gonna be good. just b/c it's not sticking to the old series doesn't make it bad. They've even said if yer a super freak fan of the old one, yer probably not gonna like this one... personally, i've never seen one episode of the old one, and i think that's the audience they're going for.

    Im not convinced its gonna suck just because of that. Im gonna watch it, and if it turns out to be as good as SG1, buy it. Now, I know it wont be as good as B5, but in the remote possibility that it will, I will worship it!

    I spent my youth watching German dubbed episodes of Battlestar Galactica (on RTL IIRC), it is the basis of my sci-fi hunger.

    Now about the color. It sucks.
