Babylon 5 == The LEGO Project

Here's some update pics for the LEGO project. Its aims:
To create a wide range of Buildable, functional Lego models based on the Babylon 5 universe.
To create a new form of 3D artwork, based upon renderings of these models.
To boldly go where no lego person has gone before...

The starfury and Thunderbolt mini-figures are done. Clearly the omega destroyer isnt, but I think its clear where its going to..
The complete model should equate to 1500mm in length (a metre and a half).

    There only are 2 pics so far. Its just that I tend to post text links as well.

    I will say thats the most piece efficient shadow design Ive seen. Most run into real problems getting the organic styling to work with cubic pieces.

    Its nice to get positive feedback.
    The next image post will be of the rotating section and the hull to the front & rear of it. Expect that in the next week or so.

    Maybe I can get a minbari fighter designed, and create renders of dogfights etc...
    That would be cool.

Don't post images directly if they are above either of those two sizes. If you are posting multiple images below these sizes then take into account that the effect is cumulative and maybe you should post them as links. Not all of us have highspeed lines or nice big monitors. If you keep breaking this rule, I will have to start doing more than just editing your post.[/admin mode]

    Yes, true. Long load times are expected there.

    I use a nice little program called Universe Creator for my starfield backgrounds.
