ROFL! It would seem that photo is edited though...
• LOL! A kitten with an L96! :D

Er, yes, I would have to agree with Messiah's conclusion, there... ;)

That? That's not edited! It's merely showing the superior intelligence of cats!
• Rogue TraderRogue Trader Somebody stop him...
I agree with biggles!!!!!!
• Problem is, I'd be grabing the gun and throwing that cat out the window.

cats a stupid, much dumber then any other animal out there. you can't even train them do ANYTHING other then use the litterbox for petes sake! ('cept in rare instances)

A2507 is obviously an idiot...

Cats are far smarter then most other animals. They are smart enough not to give in to being trained...

See, I KNOW cats a stupid.
They pee anywhere, (That stuff is NASTEY, stinks, and you cannot get it out of ANYTHING, it stains concrete for petes sake!)
they shread anything they get their claws only.

and the number ONE reason I know cats are stupid?
you point a gun at it, and it just looks at you. (Easy target)
• C_MonC_Mon A Genuine Sucker
I don't know what you do whit you cats A2597, but you can train them not to pee every where.

Actually you can train cats to do stuff, but not as easy as dogs. Cats are more independent than dogs and that's why they don't obey you allways. One reason why dogs are easily trained is because they see you as their pack leader. If you're not a good leader dogs won't obey you either.

Actually, I think you've just dealt with badly trained cats. Blame the trainer for that, not the cat.

I've trained a cat to shake before.
• *Picture sam picking up a cat, grabbing its paw, and shaking with it*

um....I dunno...was the cat a willing participant?

I'm sick of cats. Nasty critters. (FYI, in my neck of the woods there are hundereds of stray cats. they get under houses and tear out the insulation, the mate under your window (Why do they ALWAYS go for the window?!?) the pee anywhere, and quite litereally you CANNOT get rid of that smell, it stains the concrete. powerwashing, bleach, deoderants, tried it all, still stinks. and that was through carpet AND two layes of padding!)

I hate cats...
• Random ChaosRandom Chaos Actually Carefully-selected Order in disguise
I have NEVER met a cat that peed everywhere, even untrained or outdoor cats, or even wild cats! You must be dealing with some demented cats.
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
My cats never did anything of the sort. Hell, even when untrained, they didn't do that. Even the two very, very feral cats me and my parents took up didn't do that. They just clawed everything to death. And that took no time to stop.
• Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
I like cats. I love watching how the most vicious of my three cats hunts and kills birds and small mammals on our front yard, and then brings them to show to us for slices of bacon.

He does eat what he catches, and even though he does look like Garfield the cat (not orange though), i think it's all muscle. :)
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
You know a cat loves you when it brings you its catch :)

Annabelle, one of my two cats, loves me to death. She even gave me breakfast in bed: a still-twitching squirrel *and* a mouse! Right there on the end of the bed. heh
• I have to agree with the other guys, cats are fantasic, I have three myself. :)

(And they certainly never "pee everywhere"...) ;)

Regards,
Morden
• Our back deck is littered with dead rodents and birds, but the weird thing is, our cats, both six years old, are TINY... not much bigger than the friggin' birds they catch! but then again, my cats are pretty strange... I remember when our neighbor had his old dog, which had grown up with cats, it would chase my cat around for a while, then my cat would chase the dog... hilarious :p

I think A# has some misconceptions about what constitutes "stupid". :)
• BekennBekenn Sinclair's Duck
Agreed. Cats are the best pets a guy could wish for.
• any guy that likes cats has issues...

maybe cats are just totally different in florida...but here, they are horrid little creatures.

get a dog.
• C_MonC_Mon A Genuine Sucker
One cat I really would like to have is a lynx lynx! Would look nice when it starts to hunt for things.
• Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
I'd like one of those anime/hentai/manga cats.. you know, girls with those funky ears and a tail and paws or such...

And not a drawn one, but a real one.. kawaii ^_^

...Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I would get a dog, but when I was a kid, our neighbors had this giant husky, and because our yard was so damned small, playing baseball usually meant chucking the ball to the dog. One time, I decided to go for the ball, and ended up with the dog's chain wrapped around my legs a dozen times, a ripped shirt, and enough dog slobber to drown in. I don't know why, but I haven't liked dog ever since. ;)
• I was bit by a Dalmation...
I was bit by a little yappy thing...

both those dogs died within two weeks, and I wasn't even around...

go fig. something in my blood I guess. muahaha. :D

still love dogs...
• Hey, don't get me wrong, I really like certain types of dogs, especially the pedigrees. My mate has a Boxer, and she's great and very well-bred apparently. Big fan of bulldogs we well. ;)

Not too keen on the bigger dogs though, it's a psychological thing I suppose.

That has to be one of the most unfounded and baseless comments I've read in a long time.

(By the way, JMS is a big cat lover)

And as for the cat being a willing participant, yes. I didn't just pick up her paw. I trained her to put her paw in my hand when she heard the word "shake", just like you would with a dog.

When I read that whole thing with JMS and the kitten I was like "Just gas the pipes or something" sheesh...

Some mixed breeds can be nice too, my sisters...who knows WHAT all that dog is...a little pit bull (Only in appearence, and strength) its a small dog, only avout 3 feet long, and cute as can be. Love attention, etc. Really nice dog. Alot like the kind I want...

Personally, I'm quite happy with my two cats. For a start, they know how to take care of their own byproducts.
