I need some help with German

I know there’s another post that's similar to this, but it seems to have degenerated into a flame war. ;)

Anyway, I just started taking German and I am having trouble reading and pronouncing some words. (Mostly the longer ones.) Normally I would be content to "fudge" my way through it, but I have to make it to German 3 before I can graduate. (Plus I want to go to Germany some day and I would like to know the language.)

Can any of the German speaking people or the English speaking ones who have taken German give me any pointers? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

YZF 600R is a Yamaha motorcycle with 600CC and 101HP. It has got it's design from sportsbikes but got some modifications that makes it nicer to take long drives with. Picture!!

Having been to Japan, yes there is a big language barrier, and it is a bit of culture shock, but as a country it is a great place to visit. It has to be one of the safest countrys on earth, very low crime rate. There are enough people there who speak english, that you could get along.

Also if you like bright colors and happy music with your advertisments, then you'd love Japan. That's definitly one of Japan's unique charateristics, they have some of the most cheerfull advertising in the world!

A guy in my class went to Japan last year for the entire year without speaking a word of the language. He seems to have survived.
  • Germany is beautiful, was over there in the late eighties for a couple of weeks...

Words cannot express driving on the Autobahn in a Renault station wagon going as fast as you can go. Had it buried for a half hour......lol

Wish I had my current vehicle over there then.....02 Z28....:D

Too bad you don't have an '85 I-ROC Z28... of course, you'd have to have a mullet for that. ;) (Just kidding, I love Cameros.)
