    [i]Republic: The Revolution[/i] hasn't got a good appraisal by magazines b/c many features the devs wanted to put in aren't included. The testers meant you can do only a small part of the originally planned actions to get the public on your site, to vote for your party. Also - like you said - the control isn't the best. No good tutorial and you only play in the 2D perspective. The 3D mode isn't really useful.
    So, hehe, nice idea and the game has a great potential - but it's not the best realization.

    LOL! Republic is kind of a common word online. Lots of political sites. Only one game.

    I've heard of it, but I knew it wasn't going to be good as soon as I heard about it. Fheckin brilliant concept, would be one of the greatest games ever, but there's no way any company would spend the 5 years required to make this game fully work like it should..

    Hehe, you have much of imagination? ;) :) For me the games aren't equal. EOC (Edge of Chaos = I-War 2) has some political aspects but the main plot and the game style hasn't to do anything with this.
