Plus, you need some license doohickey to even buy one.

Data Crystal, what makes suicide a cowards choice? Really?

    [/B][/QUOTE]

It isn't if you're badly paralyzed, suffering from a fatal disease or in constant _physical_ pain.

Otherwise you're choosing to hit "eject" and fade away without a fight rather than putting in the slightest effort to bring the plane back in intact. Besides, you only get one Golden Sun no matter what you do. ( People who know where this sentence comes from (you should) get a warm feeling of nostalgia. That's reward enough. :D)

Getting over depression basically means grabbing yourself by the neck and getting back on the tracks, no matter what else you might need to get there. But the change always starts with the decision to get back up yourself, no-one else can do it for you, although other people can be a big help.

BUT, this is my opinion based on my experience alone. I hate people who honestly think that their opinion is the only right one. And since I don't know your situation I can't preach to you without making a fool out of myself, I',m just stating my opinion. Which is based on my own thoughts, own experiences and certain self-inflicted hospitalisations in the family...

And so you had a dog, eh? Honestly then, if you think there's even the slightest chance you'll be able to redeem yourself in your own eyes at any point of your life... get a cat. :) I mean it, they're something else and genuine mental powerhouses. + There's a lot of cute gals around who love cats btw... nevermind.

At the moment I got 3 cats (10 years old, 8 years old and 2 years old) and two dogs (10 years old poodle who looks like a terrier, and 2 years old dalmatian).

And what about cosntant mental pain, relieved mostly by physical pain.

And there's one thing I know about my situation, is that I'm right. ;)
  • I agree that no perspective on the issue is really 'correct'... which is why I hate it when people tell me how I should 'get over' my depression. You are totally wrong if you think that your way is the right way, or that your words could make me snap out of it... if I ever 'stop' being depressed, it will be on my own terms, in my own way.

    I completely agree with you.

If it's an issue that affects you, it's your business, no-one elses, and you should work it on on your own terms like you said. I've felt down occasionally, and I've gotten over it by myself, or with help from my mates. Its the holier than thou style criticising you get off people that pisses me off when they try to tell you what you should do.

  • how do they tell you to get over it?

Just general sniping comments such as "cheer up", or "ugh, I wish he'd do this...". When people see another person not acting how they thing he/she should, they often feel duty-bound to interfere...

Yeah, but it's worst when they give you a speech about how clinics tell you you're supposed to 'get better'. Believing in yourself and thinking about all you have to live for and shit.... when it comes down to it, if I die, I'm dead, and I don't give a shit about it. It's nice to think we all care about one another, and all that shit about one big happy family, but meh.
  • Yeah, I hate when ppl do that.

Fuck Iv been so depressed, This summer. I am depressed right now, lol. I will be threw out the school year, like I'm usually am.

it get ever worse over the winter, Damn S.A.D.

Anyway The only way to fight depression, is to use anti-depressants. I don t feel like putting up with hart-burn again. Lol

What I am depressed about..... Lots of things, Things of the past. Such as the Middle Ages, Where science and Technolagy al most stoped in advance ment:(, we would be expoloring the stars right now, but NOOOOOO.... A pile of fuck nut religious ASS HOLES Had to say Sciance is the work of the Devil, FUCK, RELIGION PISSES ME OFF, I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THEM FOR THAT. YOU YOU KNOW WHAT RELIGIONS I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!, At times I wish the roman empire never fell:(

Now I'm getting pissed, and starting to rant again.

And don t get me started on the current world. And a pile of other things. Like Social Life, FUUUUUCK..... I cant think Straight again, LOL

Now i'm going to try to clam Down, I'm going to get a drink of green tea:)
  • clammy green tea... you crazy Scandinavians.
  • Green Tea is Chinese dumb ass
  • Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
I damnit it all to hell.

I find myself in a bit of a predicament.

I've started feeling less emotional pain, and few days ago the individual who is pretty much the reason I am still here was online in icq (he/she/it is actually a chinese guy with his gf trying to mess with my head but failed, doesnt really matter). Didn't message it though, who knows what'd happen if i'd gotten a reply.

Anyway. Today I made myself feel like shit again after nearly 15 days of not feeling like shit 24/7. Then I cut myself. It didn't really do any good anymore. Hell, didn't even notice the continued bleeding a while back.

I'm starting to get really messed up. And some uncertainty is creeping in. I do still know what it is I must do (edit: even though I don't want to do it). And I have found two ways. One, to go to the city of my original planning, drink myself drunk for couple of days and if I'd still have the same feeling I have sometimes, I'd jump from the hotel room (if it was high enough) after I'd cut my wrists.

The other plan is to go to NYC, and then go out for some nightly walks. Into the less-than-proper neighbourhoods. It wouldn't even be a suicide and my face would be saved.

Um, actually it was the Roman Empire under Emperor Constantine which was responsible for the spread of Christianity into Europe. ;)

However, I also share a a dim view of many aspects of organized religion.
