That reminds me, I have to decide where to get my copy. Anybody know which big-assed store has the lowest in-person DVD prices? I'm a bit dodgy on the mail order.
Mines being released on the 12th next week, getting it from DVDConcept, region 1 version. Can't be assed to wait the stupid amount of time for the region 2 release.
Holy Crap!!! Just had an email through just now saying its shipped!!!!!! Wooohooooo!!!! :D

Well, no email from amazon telling me mine's shipped yet. But I did get some amazon-spam from amazon.co.jp telling me about some funky DVD home theatre system they want to sell me and their new Apple store. :)
My boss is saving his cash for one of those DivX dvd players... there's a Danish company making them with DivX hardware decoders built in so all you have to do is pop in your cd with a divx movie on it and away you go. I think prices here in the UK are down to about £220 which is not bad and I think they're multiregion aswell. Bit overkill for the boss though... he has one of those Sony dvd players that holds 200 dvds! Insane really.

Divx the codec or Divx the failed DVD rentel scheme?
He's referring to the DIVX codec.
divx is equal if not better because its more abundant online. :)
That doesn't make it a better codec for movies on disc. :)
