Add me to the list of 'I never knew that!' Pretty cool though.
The Wing Commander film had alot of potential but I think they got screwed very early on when their budget got cut and they were forced to finish the film in a rush and with little money. Its a shame as it started good but then got a bit silly. Its also a shame considering the cast they had... some very good solid actors in it.

Yep, I push the disabled fighter off the deck (how in the world it was just resting on the deck in the first place is another question) with a bulldozer looking thing with four wheels (yet another question about the physics of the situation) and THE SHIP FALLS OFF!!!
That arguement has bothered me ever since it was brought up, it's most likely due to the exact same system that keeps most of the crew on their feet INSIDE the ship, it wouldn't be too far-fetched (considering the subject) to assume that whatever field or force that keeps the crew oriented upward would extend onto the ship's landing deck, and possibly a few meters beyond.
and I "like" Wing Commander the same way I "like" Independence Day; they're both entertaining and pretty, but otherwise dumb movies.

I really feel like shooting a certain hotshot pilot :D
I still really love that movie, no matter how much I try to hate it. It's just fun.
And the music is really great.
The Music was good. But I liked the Music in Red October better
Hehe. That scene where the entire crew sang eh? Me too :)
