    The docking bays, of course.

    The 0-gee docking bays, to be specific.

    Power supply would be in the non-rotating fusion section, of course. you'd probably want a non-rotating platform inside the main body to eliminate the connection problems.

    No, the docking bays are the perfect size for disc drives. I would put the power supply in the fusion area, connect it through to the internal components using brushes. Ports are a problem, because you can't have them rotating or they tangle up cords, but you also can't have them in the stationary sections because then they can't get connected to the motherboard. The only options are more brushes, or put the motherboard in the stationary part as well.
