It's a book on all the films Digital Domain has done effects on...fantastic.

For those that don't know, Digital Domain was founded by James Cameron and Stan Winston. They did the Effects in Terminator2: 3D (the ride), Titanic (first LINUX render farm), True Lies, Apollo 13, 5th element, X-men and Spider-Man.

The book takes you step-by-step through some phenominal effects shots.

Here's some Trivia: The first film to ever use Photoshop was T2: Judgement Day. The lead programmer of the software used version 0.62 at ILM to do much of the digital textures and frame manipulations in the film.

As long as you are doing research on a new company that you will be starting, (and of course hiring me for...) then I approve!

    ;) :D
