  Holy crap.. I was up last night until 3 am working on this thing. Formatted both hard drives, and got everything re-installed.
  
  I started at 10:30

  I may be reinstalling soon. I've noticed that a computer shop near here is having a special on SATA drives. They've got the Seagate 80GB SATA drive for the equivalent of $US120 (very cheap for NZ).
