I was going to go to italy and beat up a load of guys in medieval armour (re-enactment), but it fell through. Have a good time, you never know, might meet some of my mates- look out for a guy called R1PP3R, he's trouble ;)

HAve fun!! I will be posting a thread like this in approxamately 2 minutes...
• Damn. My summer vacation is almost over. Glorious two weeks that it was.

Well I visited Sweden, Denmark and Germany. Some traveling. Oh well, back to Germany in the end of July.

Worf: Did you go to the Stibbert museum in Florence? They are very helpful there, and have a lot of armour. I was in heaven! :)
• WORFWORF The Burninator
I was only there for a few hours (on Saturday) and most of it was spent on a guided tour, so there wasn't time to look in the museums :(.

I bet you've never tasted oilier food either, from what my sister tells me. Good thing it's all olive (or similar) oil. :)
• WORFWORF The Burninator
Watching through the X-Files a few months ago has made me suspicious of anything oil based.

So that would be pretty much all Italian cuisine then?

Coincidentially, I am munching on some Lasagna right now. Really tasty.
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
Lasagna = good.

This one block of Lasagna is enough to feed me for two weeks, too! I've been eating 1/8th of it each day as a meal, and it's just damn good :D

Oh, the bread I ate was almost stale, but drenched in oil, and a little bit of salt.

Lasagna = One of the top 5 student foods there is.

NOTHING beats my moms homemade lasagna!

Now, as for oily foods...eh...My brother in law managed some really good italian meal...but OOOHHHH man...I had a HUGE puddle of oil on my plate...

This stuff is made on the spot by the best pizza place in town. NOBODY can beat it.

They've got the best pizza, the best lasagna, the best food rolls, the best garlic knots, the best...everything. EVERYTHING.
• A2597A2597 Fanboy
if you go on that road trip, and visit here...I'll be glad to proove you wrong. :)

Trust me, everyone that eats my moms cooking agrees its the best they've had, both in and out of her hearing. :)

I've never had anything come CLOSE to my moms cooking, and I've been privalaged enough to eat at many five star resteraunts, and other "Unbeatable" places.

NOTHING has ever come close. :)
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
five-star resturants are overrated.

As are "Unbeatable" places.

Except Rosa's pizza. It's simply the best pizza ever.
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Pizza is overrated. As is lasagna. The 5 part meal I ate in a small village, sunday evening starting with antipasta, and ending with grilled pieces of meat was heaven.
• WORFWORF The Burninator
If only we could get proper Italian pizza here. Unfortunately, the only good pizza place I know of is in London.

British pizza is some what lacking in everything.

Later I will finish scanning my holiday photos, il post a few of the nice ones.

• It's quite funny that pizza means busines. People are paying "lot" of money over a food that was "invented" by the most poor people :D
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
Well, I'm very happy with $1.00 per large slice of delicious pizza.
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Did you know that they actually had fast-food restaurants in old rome? They even served hamburgers in there (that is bread, with minced meat inbetween). Pretty kewl. And running water mind you ;)
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
Well, Rome was very civilised. :)
• Jeah. Just spoke a vacation from work for my trip to Germany, cool.
