I don't believe you had to reregister. Only a few people did, and one was myself.

*BUT* This board did do a proper recount of the posts. Unlike the UBB, which would just add one number per post, and remove one when deleted, this board actively queries the database regarding posts and counts when it's told to update. The more active users lost upwards of 500, while the less active users lost insignificant numbers. I noticed a few users who fell below zero, though. THat confused me at the start.

So you're saying you got over 2000 posts in a mere few months, WHY? :) I seem to recall fixing your post count when you first started to complain about it, based on the count in your profile on the old boards.

Dunno, I remember passing 2000 a LONG time ago, I just picked it because it seemed like a good even number...

and I re-registered because the thought hadn't occured to me that we'd be importing out old accounts :p
