No changes in lighting are planned, however, I can tell you that simply because of the high poly counts making all the new curves, the existing lighting engine finally (forgive the pun) shines. It's increadible how good the lighting looks on these new meshes. The good existing lighting capability of the engine just wasn't fully realized IHMO until this mod came along and put it to its full use.

There you have it. Lighting is something of a specialty of the Dark Engine, it played the biggest possible role on both Thief -games. It's just that the original models in Shock 2 didn't really allow the engine to kick the doors in, so to speak. :)
