"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean, if Pac-Man
affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in
darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to
repetitive electronic music." - Kristian Wilson,

Just another stubborn Naval Reservist...
I'm sorry, it doesn't affect us, you say?

There once was a man walking along a road, who tripped over stone, and fell. As he got up he realised that moving the stone had uncovered a rusty old can.
He, in his idle curiosity, opened the can, to find it full of worms.
As he continued to examine the contents of the can, they began to change. Within minutes of the opening of the can, the worms had become giant demonic lizardy things (think Buffy season 3 - Graduation Day part II).
The beasts rampage across the country, leaving a wide swathe of destruction and death in their wake.
No trace of the man can be found, except a pair of blood stained shoes.
Thus ends my analogy of this topic.
