I have made the switch, well sort of.

i have purchased my first apple macintosh today. It should arrive this coming week and im really really excited about it.

Specs:

15 inch powerbook
1ghz power pc G4
1GB SDRAM - 2 dimms
60GB Ultra ATA drive
SuperDrive (DVD-R/CD-RW)
Airport Card


YAY! JUST A FEW MORE DAYS TILL I GET IT!!!!

    My first mac will probably be a laptop as well. If I ever get one. Chances are higher that I'll get a PC laptop and install linux on it.

    AWSOME... Lemme know how long the battery lasts when you're burning a DVD in the superdrive. The new IDVD and IMovie studio's look like they rock. Those utilities are the reason I'd want a Mac.... good choice though!

    I'd get a Mac for desktop publishing stuff. I wouldn't want/need it for anything else.

    Yes. I cant wait until my dad gives the go-ahead (he really needs to get tax writeoffs, and I figure what better way?).

    Now, if only I could convince him to get a new PC :D But that wont happen.
