Actually, for those of you who listen to NPR, they played a pretty good joke: They ran a story about how the Library of Congress was trying to archive all the known sound recordings onto the most stable sound format known to man, 78 RPM shellac record.

Here's the link: http://discover.npr.org/features/feature.jhtml?wfId=1216161

The story was actually very convincing, with a very logical explination for storing sound on a 78. Anyway it fooled me....

Well there is a logical reason for storing on vynil. It's the best possible quality. Unfortunately, it's not very robust and difficult to copy.

I find April fools day to be kind of stupid.... ITs the day everone exspets a prank on them, Its ever better to do any time of the year.
• Some IT-fools

Perhaps you know them already b/c April's fools day is some days ago now. Nevertheless, for example these three "announcements" have some sort of fun:

PS: After reading this on April 1st one of my local friends had the idea to search for an Atari 2600 :p .
