Post a pic of your pets!
I have an eel, Qui Quag.

(Pardon for the lousy image, hes kinda reclusive, and there isn't much light in my fishtank. Long exposure time = blurring image)
I caught him from the lake out back, amazing creature. He has four little legs, smaller then the legs of a lizard, breaths oxygen from the air, and survive buried in two feet of sand for two months... (The lattermost was discovered after we did some work removing muck from a canal, took two months before we could spread the piles of muck (They had to dry) and in one of them, there is this eel....still alive.
my only other pet is a little turtle, Leto. (Just got the name, hehe, I name all my pets after fictional charectors I REALLY liked, but got killed off/story ended with charechtor in a really bad/sad position, thus the Eel (Qui Quag, from Moby Dick, Leto, from Children of Dune, I had other angle fish named Othello and Maximus for awhile too...)

Whats to say? he eats hydrilla leaves, suns himself, and generally acts cute. (Note how he even looked right at the camera. :) ) oh...and hes only about an inch and a half long, but his neck can already streach almost 3/4ths of an inch....

I should post pics of my cats.
Arnt they soo cute...
I should post pics of my cats.
"cute" should never be applied to my eel...
he liked to play with his food. He'll bite the tail off a fish, and watch it die. occationally he'll kill for fun too...usually he just eats whatever gets close enough though...stays motionless in the water with his mouth open...wandering minnow nears. Gulp! :D
I used to have four crawl dads in the tank (Picture a clawed lobster, only three inches long, and you have a crawl dad)
he ate three, killed the fourth...
Just a quick question about the eel: If you were to say, put your hand in there to move a rock or something, would you have all of your fingers when you pulled it back out? :D
Back home, I have two cats, Annibelle and Bobo .
Bobo is the oldest, and was my second cat (Successor to one of my mother's pets, Firecracker). He also has the most interesting history of them all. His last owner was Dee Snider. Yes. That Dee Snider. As in the singer from Twisted Sister. His original name was Bubba, it seems. He also had a little cat house out back, but that changed when he came into our house.
Annibelle was one of three that my father brought home from the vet. Along with her came Ginger and Spunky. Sadly, Spunky died of problems in his digestive tract, and Ginger was hit by a truck (But survived!), and while healing, ran away and was never seen again. We were very sad because of that...But at least we have Annibelle, my favorite animal friend. :) She still seems to think she's a kitten. A large--scratch, huge kitten.
So in case you didn't catch the link above, here's two photos:
Annibelle right before a hunt (which I decided would be interesting to follow)
Bobo, asleep on his favorite couch
Edit: I also found these two photos of one of the many showdowns going on between the two cats. :P
Annibelle vs. Bobo over who gets to eat first. Annibelle appears to have a start, but I'm pretty sure she just ended up hiding under the table behind her (the one with the blue shroud)

You have never met a more loving, stinky, carefree, pensive-looking, stubborn, shedding, affectionate, slobbery, clumsey, lasy dog in the whole world, and I wouldn't trade him for nothing.
Jake
Just click on the kitties.

Dog is really nice (shes a Collie), barks too much- is getting a little fat.
One of the cats- Love- is my moms and is a Siemise cat. Kinda shy, but nice cat.
The other cat- Skipper, my sisters- is a fat devil cat. She is either possessed or has MPD. :D She tends to hiss one second and growl the next- or do both.
My cat died a few years ago, and I dont have any pictures yet (maybe in a few months)
cats
The first cat's name is Sprinkler.
The second is Sherii.
The third is Rex.
They are kind of stupid, because Sherii sat in our apple tree when it was fall. Sherii hitted the apples that was left so they fell to the ground. Rex then is on it's way up in the same tree to do the same but Sherii won't let Rex up in the tree. So Rex goes to another apple tree, but there is no apples left in that tree so Rex don't know what to do.

Hate to rain on your parade, but I named him after Qui Quag, from Moby Dick. (Which is where Scully named her dog)

(SwissMyth is the kennel)
I wish I could have had this little guy as a pet...

I could send ya a nice soft shell snapping turtle! Only about thre feet long, with a neck that can go about a foot and a half, and a jaw that can bite fingers off! :) :D :)
Oh! Oh! How about a Gater Snapping Turtle? now THOSE things are one of the reasons I don't swim in the lake out back. (Besides the REAL gaters...and the Cottonmouth snakes...)
Oh...or a Real Rattle Snake! Harder to find around here, but I've had my close encounters with them...as in, snake coiled, rattling away, mouth open, less then four feet away from me.... *runs*
Don't think I can send you a Snake though...maybe a Bobcat? :D

I shoulda remembered that... read that some time ago...
:(
I still say they should have killed Ishemal, and let Qui Quag live....
:(
But then, who would've told the story? "Call me Qui Quag." just doesn't have the same ring to it. ;)
