The Daily Show

SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
They have to be the best news program on the air.

Why is it their best writers don't appear until the big events? :P

But damn, the coverage today was just hilarious.

Also, anyone catch the latest South Park? How can this show just keep on getting better and better?

  • It's a comedy news show on cable television in the United States...

I'm to cheap/poor/financially responsible to pay the outrageous rates for cable television. I've only seen it twice at other households so don't know much about it.

Hey, Konrad, I've recently started selectively capping episodes of it. As is the case with Children of Dune and World Rally Championship stuff, I'll be putting it somewhere nice and public for people to fetch, if they want it.

It is a great show. If you get HBO, be sure to check out Bill Maher's new show as well!

Did I mention I'm cheap/poor/'trying to be' financially responsible… yea I'm here on a 56K modem… downloading movies? Now Dune, I'd let it run overnight for that.

I'd be glad to mail out CDs sometime in the near future, depending on how far away you might be. :P

Also, Penn and Teller's new show, Bullshit!. Check it out. Almost like a revival of Michael Moore's shows (although more of a documentary than an activist thing)

Cable does not cost that much, Its like 45$/Month and I get around 60 stations or so.

For me, cable is provided by the school. 68 channels are included. And because I was given hell with my attempt to subscribe to digital cable, AOL/Time Warner gave me a PVR Box and a whole bunch of movie channels for free (In addition to the box). So now, my monthly bill is $0.30. I really wish I could just mail them the nickel and quarter, but no, I have to write out a check. *sigh*
