Is the Message system down?

Is the messaging system down in SC, because I've been sending messages and getting no replies, also I know i've been attacked but there are no "attacked messages?"

    If it is Gunners, they won't leave an attacked message. Dunno why. They just don't trigger anything on the Spread fire mode.

    I get a message when gunners destroy ships.

    If you send a message to someone with a ´ on his name he will not receive the message.
    Also if you send a message selecting some ones planet and on the destination is written : Neutral, he didnt get it either

    The best way is to copy and paste the fella's name into the recepient box.
