Hate to break it to you, but the Psi Corps no longer exists [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img] I's after the telepath war, and it was disbanded.
That is not entirely true. Pictures of Matheson show a Psi Corps badge on his shoulder in the black uniforms, and another on the gray and red uniforms. The Corps exist, but not as they once were.
yes he does have a badge.........but it isn't the standard one seen in B5. He has a silver Greek 'Y' on his shoulder (ie, the Y is not on the standard badge shape)

Well, here is one guess. The Psi Corp may very well be gone, but that doesn't mean that telepaths a fully free. And especially in Earth Force - the badge may simply be to show what he is

The reason he has to wear that badge is because Earth set up a new body to over see telepaths to make sure they were not abusing their powers, after the Telepath War. Remember that official that came on board the Excalibur to scan Matheson to make sure he hadn't violated any regs and scanned people against their will? Gideon put him in his place by tricking him very cleverly.

You can also see it in the shots of the entire cast - but not very clearly
