I don't think that Noone Lives Forever really has what we need. A big part of choosing the engine is going to be the ability to do the B5 gardens. Last I heard the engine used in NOLF isn't powerful enough for that.

What about waiting for Jedi Knight 2, it should be able to handle large outside sections and the lightsaber could be converted to a Minbari Fighting pike.

UT's engine is aging, but it's also extremely upgradable, for example, UT didn't originally have skeletal animation, but it was implemented by some modders and Epic added full support for skeletal animation little later in UT's Bonus pack 4. Unreal engine was designed to be easily upgraded if necessary.
My vote goes to UT, for it's relatively easy upgradability, I can make levels for it and I've been learning UScript so i could make mods.

Well in HW you have to use A LOT of programs.
To edit/make *.shp you use [b]Wordpad[/b].
To edit/make *.mex you have to use [b]VME[/b], [b]MexEdit[/b], and [b]Spooky's MexEdit[/b].
To edit/make LODs you use [b]WordPad[/b]
To edit/make ship you have to use [b]3dex[/b]
And the list go's on.
Im interested in making a startagey game up one day.. in fact that would be something I would love to do... as for FPS.. their not the best games IMHO, but I enjoy going out an killing bad guys..... so I want a chance to do that in B5... as for engines... I know jack ****, and so Im going to have to leave the choices up to you guys.... something thats really flexible so we can make it what we want... something powerful, but as lower capabilities as possible so that there is a chance that the lower end bods can still use it (which I almost always fall into [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img]).... apart from that lets have a go old chaps [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img] [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img]

Well... I just Shp and Mex. Spooky and Crook (the tool makers) may make one but their skills only go so far. Our god of making tools (delphy) moved away and he has no computer.
