Just got this from the B5LR board:

cnl.com is now listing the B5 DVD as available for pre-order.

    Hmm...so they have both widescreen AND Pan&Scan on the disc? I guess that means no extras.

    Hmmm... there had better be extras. Some how I don't think JMS would let WB release them if there wasn't any decent extras. But maybe they will follow for the actual season releases... these first 2 aren't part of any season release. Just have to hope for the best and hope that JMS was able to get what he wanted on those discs.

    JMS couldn't stop them from releasing the DVDs without extras. He could talk to them about it, but WB owns Babylon 5. They can do whatever they want with the episodes.

    This first DVD is a water-testing thing, so chances of extras are low. I would say that it's listed as both widescreen and pan&scan because In The Beginning was filmed in widescreen but The Gathering wasn't (to my knowledge).
