I care about native american history. I was always fascinated by their sence of honour and dignity. Ive only been to Cherokee though, hope to visit other places of interest later in my life.

Id like to get down into areas of Navajo territory myself, I hear there are some beautiful sights down there. Still odd subject to be fascinated in, I mean I guess its since they are "different" but being here in the US we are a bit used to them.. Hehehe, grew up with a girl who was 3/4 cherokee, Sky Blue Cordaway, damn was she pretty although she moved away when were in highschool so most of the time I knew her I was more interested in yanking her pony tail and scuffling on the play ground
Frankly I find the Lapps fascinating, or maybe its just hillaroious watching the Norweigian Navy using a LST to ferry around some of their reindeer herds in that country hell, who showed up first the Lapps or the weirdo fins?

Lol, there are a lot of fins on this board you know, dont disturb them as they are subtle and quick to anger
Anyhow... the lapps are probably an offshoot of native american blood, I read a report stating they probably arrived from the west at about the time some of my own forefathers arrived from the south . They have some pretty wierd laws that give them some extraordinary rights to do stuff in the north of sweden (as being the only ones who are allowed to breed reindeer in Sweden). And their women are very cute .
Now the fins... their story I dont know, except that they are one of three nationalities who speak a very special kind of language-branch. If I remember correct, the other two are the hungarian and the vietnamese.

The Lapps came here before us. They're the original native people of Finland. Don't ask when they came here though, I have no idea.
Yup, Hungary is one of the few languages which are very close to Finnish language. They are called Finno-Ugric languages. Vietnamese is not of them though. LOL Messiah!
Funny thing is though, that I can't understand one word of Hungarian, but I can understand lots of Estonian which is not supposed to be that close related to Finnish language as Hungarian. In fact Estonian language sounds like a funny version of Finnish language to us Finns and both nations people can understand lot of what each other say.
