It also keeps the Sheridan Learning Stuff thread going, and works in a nice balance to the rest of the episode. Here he's going nuts, being harrassed, and his command is on the line...so he has to learn to bend his knee, accept silence, give up his command symbolically by giving up the stat bar, and finding one perfect moment of peace.

We discussed the possibility of a certain piece of navigational trash in B5 airspace (or is that spacespace?) that one might "splat" on their cockpit, or light off with a well placed plasma burst.
We pondered making it part of a contest, if we were able to get to market. Kind of a "we're not going to tell you what or where it is, but send us a picture, and you'll get a poster/signed edition" type thing. Randy or Marc had indicated to me that was something they had wanted to put in for a while...
2 possibilities: JMS would have taken it as intended; a "nod" to spacing the bear and ripping on Peter David; or he might have been....concerned. No idea though, as it never got that far. He never liked talking about the bear, apparently.
