I still quite like that transparent one. Either that, or another cube like the one I have now.

But the problem with those lucite cases is that they're unshielded. RF interferance city!

It should be easy enough to embed metal shavings into them or a net grid system to cut the RF down...
Although I personally prefer the automated torpedo system that locks onto and destroys all government and corperate sources of RF interference _
The lucite cases are also VERY fragile. No carrying those off to LAN parties! Even shipping them with tons of packing doesn't work once they're assembled.

They do have a white version of the nest which would go with beige drives. With the blue lights, it's the color scheme of the WhiteStar.
I have the green one and I put in round cables which I then covered in corrugated tubing. I mounted a pair of handles on top. It's a semi-portable borg case.

Good lord $189 bucks? Just so you can overclock? but it costs more than a faster mobo/processor!
These places sell some good watercooling equipment. Just remember that watercooling has two purposes, both of which are worth the money to me:
1) Better CPU/Video/Chipset cooling. Parts last longer, are more stable, or can be overclocked higher.
2) Low noise. You have to hear it to believe it, but getting rid of those CPU and Vid Card fans really help!

I still feel that cases like this are really only good for one purpose, and thats overclocking, unless your fans have bad bearings they are not going to be that loud, and a good solid case will eat up a lot of that noise anyway.
I just can't see spending more on a case than a new mobo/processor would cost. i mean heck, i've got 6 machines, and 3 hubs with fans running in my office at home and the noise isn't that bad.

If you're going to go with liquid cooling, go the whole way! Use liquid helium!
Depends on the operating environment of your machine. I wouldn't want to have a stock HSF on my machine, since I'm not comfortable with the processor running at 60 degrees all the time. The fan in my case is a 60mm Delta, running 7000 rpm, and it's LOUD. Even then, I get about 52-54 degrees when I'm rendering stuff. Going with water could get that temp down to 30 degrees or less, and there wouldn't be any more noise than my case fans and hard drives, which would be great.
Water cooling isn't meant as a replacement for a new computer, it's meant as an addition to an already top-of-the-line system.

I guess if you need that kind of cooling, i just keep my cases open with a heatsink/fan and don't have problem, course i'm not rendering, so i don' thave that heavy a load on my CPU.
