Let see if I can get a list of Religious believes with out starting one?

Just want to see how many of them have Common threads.

Please just the religon and whatever you want to say about it.

This is serious I want to know what people think not books or random polls from who knows where.

I think religion is just a big joke about a bunch of idiots worshipping some hallucination that some weirdo had ages ago.

    Well...

    Christian with a disclaimer...

It's not that Americanized Protestant vs. Catholic, polluted westerner interpretation of dial a prayer, see my greatness on TV, send me your money, build huge buildings and watch people starve in the street, how come my name wasn't included in the staff for the newsletter, and no we don't allow drunks and the poor people in our pews kinda belief.

I keep an open mind about a lot of things... and no I'm not New Age either.

I do believe that there is a creator who is based in a loving, caring, and creative force.

I believe there is an oposite force and an entity who champions that side, as well.

Most importantly I believe that all so called faults are based upon our misinterpretations of word and event.

When it comes to the beliefs of Jesus divinity, his birth, and his work, and that everyone should love their brother as themselves, you'll find me in the fundimental view, which is not to say that I'm a bible thumping, door-to-door "works salesman", fanatic.

When all is said and done, I find it impossible to believe that the whole universe in it's unlimited organization and beauty came into being just as happen stance.

As to things on this Earth, the works of religion do not cover history, nor were they intended to. They are works for Man's faith in the unseen, not history books, although they do contain History.

I think we've been here a lot longer than religion gives credit for, and a lot shorter than science has discovered.

In short I believe the answer lies in the two covering different aspects of our universe, instead of wasting time and energy trying to disprove each other.

Am I a scitzoid? Maybe... after all... I am a Gemini...

I know this is a rough topic, I wrestle with it from time to time.

I always thought that "GOD" or whatever you choose to call it is suppost to be everywhere and be all forgiving.

Not strick and vengeful, I have a problem with many of the so called Orgainized Religions.

I guess I kinda believe along the lines that the Universe itself is "God" and from that we are created and to that we go back too.

I also believe that Jesus, Confucius,Mohammed and all the rest did exsist. The same as Einstein, Mohandas Gandhi, or Winston Churchill.

It just seems the message kinda always gets screwed up somewhere alone the lines.

Believe me I am the last person in the world to be a "bible thumpper" Just figure it would be a good topic.

    Mr. Biggles come on,

One Question though? If you die and meet "GOD" What do you say if he sneezes?

Thanks everyone now You all know how nuts I am!
