Besides the body stopping all physical functions. If you believe we have a soul or a part of something great than ourselves what happens?

    I think when you die, your brain just doesnt know how to cope with it, so so you end up in a dreamlike state for a few mins (Tunnel of light etc). And as you know 5 mins in a dream can seem like 5 hours sometimes, so I guess you get your own little afterlife.

    I feel that any of you who do not believe some part of us continues on after the physical death have lost hope in your lives, because if we are to believe that death is the ultimate end, why even bother living for the short period of time we do?
