At least its for the past Bush and not the present...that makes it a bit less outlandish
• Sigh, not really funny. The guy worked for them, he deserves the honor in my opinion. Didn't even get a chuckle…
• AnlaShokAnlaShok Democrat From Hell
Yes, funny! The dumbest guy ever to hold office has his name (I know it's his father) on something about intelligence? HAHAHAHA!!

Not funny...

I agree; not funny. In the past, we have had smart Presidents, stupid Presidents, effectual and ineffectual Presidents, but there's one thing about Bush, Sr. that sets him apart: he's a decent human being.

He’s not though! He's a freakin moron!

I don't think a moron could have executed the Gulf War as well as he did.

Ohh, you mean like doing a half-ass job like he did? What was the whole point? If it was to stop Saddam, then why isn't his head mounted on a trophy platter hanging in the whitehouse next to the spot marked for Bin Laden?

The point was to stop Saddam from taking over Kuwait, not topple his government. Not every battle between nations is a battle to the death. Toppling Saddam was not part of our mandate at the time.

Hmmm...might point out up until the current president, the most prevelent "Foot in Mouth" people to hold national office (significant senator, pres, vice pres, or advisor to them) were, in this order:
1. Quayle
2. Bush Sr.

I don't know how 'Junior' fits in though...he might fall between those two.

One word. Oil.

Passive fields. January two thousand and twelve. A nation that stands alone. Cold voices, faces pale, Gathered unto their judgement day. Such words remain unspoken. Such pride remains unbroken. Just mothers to stand in vain and cry. Tears and medals in the rain. Shall I recall when justice did prevail? No reason to be found why reason did fail. The all clear resounding. The way was clear to rebuild this land. Shall I call on you to guide me well, To see our hopes and dreams fulfilled? On this day of our ascension.

That was NOT a half-assed job, there was a reason they didn't go straight to Baghdad.

Whaaat?? This list is utterly bogus. Where's Mr. "I did not have sexual relations with that woman"? Or how about Mr. "I am not a crook"? At no point did Bush Sr. flub his words and his actions up that badly.

• That is actually quite funny

It isn't aimed at GB senior but at his son (duh). And the reason it's funny is because that man running the office has said many dumb things that you can buy books with his quotes in airports, even American!

For instance:

"It's time for the human race to enter the solar system."

Or how about:

"For NASA, space is still a high priority."

Even:

"We're going to have the best educated American people in the world."

And:

"I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future."

And hey, to the folks out there who might find it insulting then you must know that I and others are not out to dis Americans. It just happens to be an unwilling comedian who is running the country and the stuff he says is cracking. So please don't take it personal, mates

Right, but those quotes are all Quayle, not Bush.

Oh, definitely. His public speaking skills are practically nonexistent.
