    Max of 700kb/sec+, however how do I tell how fast I am at (in reality)? I cant find it under anything. It doesnt say under the lan info, but Im probably not being very smart... However, anybody have any suggestions for music to DL? I downloaded the UT2003 demo today (along with two other files) all with an average speed of 50k each. (beats the hell out of my old speed).

    A few websites have clockers that will give you a rough estimate of your "real" bandwidth..or you can download from a site that you KNOW will be faster than you, take the average KBps, and multiply by 8.... So like on the UT download you were getting 560kbps.

    You should have a peak of 768kbps, unless your ISP is crazy. However, that is TOTAL bandwidth, not including TCP/IP header overhead, etc.

    My roomate talked our ISP into a fast aDSL line for a great price, although we have to have a business phone line attached to it at the hip..but at least they treat us as a business for maint. requests.

    Anyway, they sure do beat the junk out of dialup, don't they? Always on, and so very fast [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/wink.gif[/img]
