    Not at all. I was referring to their leftist political leanings rather than their crappy teaching ability when I was comparing you to them. I had a student teacher once who tried to tell me that a compassionate conservative was an oxymoron (my friends and I came up with hits like "liberal analyst" in response).

    I take part of that back. All but one and a half (she was sort of good) of my teachers so far have been good. But that's only after one year.

    I was jokin' with ya. My general experience with teachers has been close adherence to curriculum. So in History 11 I learned of a "significant" Canadian contribution to the escort of European supply lines where ~500 (or more -- I don't know or care) severely under maintained combat corvettes with nothing on a sub, failed miserably. Furthermore, if I deduce correctly: at some point the Germans got smart, avoiding the escorts and destroying only the escorted, thus conserving ammo. How is this going to help me in adult life?     This sort of example, in North America, is not uncommon. It seems the educational institution is recruitment and classification for the economy.

    I usually edit them around 5+ times. I just forget to delete the edit footer some times. This is an attempt to convey the meaning I want -- I have trouble doing this but I'm getting better.
