If my local stations are any guide, when it will air depends on the station. One station out here airs a new episode the week after another.

Should be in a few weeks. They're about half-way through the first season again here. They forgot to show the pilot eps so they showed the first one last week, and the part 2 should be on tomorrow and Sunday. I never got to see part2 so you know that I'm gonna watch it for sure.

"Babylon 5 was the last of the Babylon stations. There would never be another. It changed the future .. and it changed us. It taught us that we have to create the future .. or others will do it for us. It showed us that we have care for one another, because if we don't, who will? And that true strength sometimes comes from the most unlikely places. Mostly, though, I think it gave us hope .. that there can always be new beginnings .. even for people like us."

I thought that at first as well, but it started to establish itself really well about mid-season when they really began the character analysis of Teir.

Give it a chance, or we're no better than the people we complain about that condemned B5 after seeing the first 3 episodes, calling it "A DS9 Knockoff."

It's a good show, but no Farscape. It is only in the first season, though. THe problem is, the show is still following the old formula. What makes Farscape great is that it basically took the formula, and ripped it to pieces which it then made a soup out of.

I *have* given this show every chance to grow on me- watched every episode of the first series. The first episode of series two was Lazy in every dep`t though
Badly plotted...acting still increadibly wooden (Almost "CrossRoads" standard...& if u know that UK show, that *is* bad!)...& the main premise of this episode has been explored more successfully (& Intelligently) in other SF Genre productions before.
It also indulges in that most unappealing of American Televisual pasttimes...Mawkishness - & that in my book is a No-No.

I`ll continue to watch series two - maybe they`ll have a writers purge & discover some real talent. Stranger things happen.

Yeah, I think he'll like bickering between the crew which gets funnier with each episode. Especially with Harper's wisecracks.

Tyr: Where's Dylan?
Harper: "I'm sorry, but the captain isn't at his post right now. Leave a message after the beep." *Beeep*
Tyr: *grabs Harper by the collar of his shirt*
Harper: Wasn't he with Rev?

IMO, Lexx only has one thing going for it in the same sense that Voyager only had one thing going for it - the rest just annoys me

I'm not saying it's perfect. I appreciate it because it's different - pushes the envelope. Great set design, often times. Off-beat characters. Twisted dialogue and situations. I get tired of seeing the same old formulas.

• Have to agree with Randy on this one. Lexx has been consistantly inovative & likeable since it`s dark inception - all the "His Shadow" stuff & info about the old "Insect Wars" was interesting.
The season Three premise-fire & water worked for the most part...& Nigel Bennett always makes a great villain (Even if he does sometimes seem to slip back into his "Forever-Knight" persona sometimes).
Roll on season 4...this time set on Earth so I hear??...

I agree, lexx sucks..Babylon 5 superb,Farscape rules,Andromeda is ok to watch,Dark Angel is also ok to watch (nice lady)

Lexx is certainly something different. I enjoyed the 4 telemovies that started it, but never really got into the series.

I watched a brief bit of Lexx and thought what the hell is this??? Weird show. Now Farscape is funny, though the fact that the ship has no big guns disappoints me. I know it makes a change though. I heard that Andromeda is pants....

My personal pick for the fall is "24"

It is a new FOX series designed for one season only; all the epsidoes lead to the dramatic Finale.

Keiffer Sutherland stars as a federal agent who must thwart an assassination attempt on the first African-American Canidate that has a real shot at the white house. The story takes place in real time--over 24 hours. One hour per episode.

Looks like B5 taught Hollywood something after all...

Eh. I think it's just FOX's attempt at a variant on the reality Fad. To them, anything which has the word "real" (or any word containing the word "real," such as "unreal" and "not-real"). THis is just the latest version. Consider this: Every non-animated show FOX has made, besides Malcolm in the Middle, has been horrible. This includes the X-Files, as I really never cared for it. "24" is a really cool idea, but I doubt Fox's ability to do it properly.

While we're talking about new shows, what about Alias? I think it looks kinda cool, any show where the chick kick ass is fun to watch.

That's what I thought, but isn't a season only 22 episodes?

Plus, it better not involve lots of travel, like, say, the main charicter going from San Fran to D.C. That would be a fun first month.

Episode One: Take-off. Our protagonist has to stand by during a half hour because of a delay due to rain, and faces off with a rude Hot Dog vendor. Rated TV-14 for mature language.

Episode Two: Crusing altitude: Our protagonist must deal with trying to open a jammed air-potty door during clear-air turbulence. Rated TV-14 for mature language and vulgar humor.

Episode Three: Breakfast: Our protagonist is just getting into a good novel when breakfast is served. While distracted by an attractive flight attendent, he spills hot coffie on his lap. Rated TV-14 for mature language and hot-beverage violence

Episode Four: Burn unit: Our protagonist must now coax neosporin and an ice pack form the same attractive flight attendent from Episode Three. Rated TV-14 for (you guessed it) mature language and medical action.

I, for one, am on the edge of my seat.
