To Bubble or not To Bubble

I'm looking into a printer and I was wondering if I should get a Bubble Jet or a lazer printer. I will be using for generic college use. And what brand do you guys recomend.

if you intend only to do short term, not used to often kind of printing by all means... Canon, Epson or HP will do you well.
the inks are the costly part, esp colour.
if on the other hand you intend to do a fair bit of printing in BW... reports, essays etc... get a laser...
laser prints dont wash away when you get them wet like bubblies... and they last much longer
if you want to archive anything you do... I wouldnt buy a bubbly...
bubble jets are for short term 'wow' printing.
lasers are for long term records and slightly higher quality
(forget Colour laser unless you are filthy rich )
If you want color and are willing to pay a bit more per page, get an inkjet.

Actually, the price on Colour lasers has come down a lot!, you can get one these days for a fairly reasonable price, Course the toner is expencive. but its pricey with Black and white lasers too.
Now where is my dictionary........
(Ink Jet, but the carterages are CHEAP! 10 -20$ for black and color!)
