    After an extra-quick peek I get good vibes from it. The only things that flip my interest rate to a pure zero are the three fabled letters, -R T S-.

    Really, This Sucks.

    Nah, all the best to the devs and such but I just figure that this sort of game would make an excellent turn based game. A turn-based game with awesome 3d-graphics. Now THERE'S the real concept someone should do...

    There was another game along the same lines being released soon, I'm sure of it. I can't remember the name but it sounded even better than this one. You could do things like develop your own techs and combine them with tech you captured from your enemies. The bulk of the game takes place in an asteroid belt, I think.

    That would be ORB. The last article I read about that didnt mention anything about capturing tech...hopefully it was just something they forgot to mention and wasnt something cut from the game.

    If it was ORB, then the article about I read at Gamespot mentioned capturing tech, I'm sure of it.

    I love customizing... It was the best part of MOO and MOO II, don't know about MOO III, havent't tried it (don't even know if it's out yet)

    But if you can customize your ships and tech in that game or in ORB, I can't wait for them to come out... [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img]

    I agree, customising units makes games more interesting, especially in multiplayer where you have to learn to adapt to other players designs instead of fixed units.

    You are given complete control of an organization that is being funded by the countries of the world to stop an alien invasion. You have to shoot down UFOs and then send in troops to capture them. Then you have to research the alien technology you retrieve and eventually find a way to defeat them while also keeping the various countries happy or they will cut your funding.
