Everyone write a review on the Amazon site

I think everyone here should write their opinions in the review section for the new B5 DVD's on the Amazon website.

I'm going to do it, other people have so we might aswell voice or opinions. It may prove usefull. And it will show that there is interest in the DVD releases.

    I want to wait until the DVD comes out before posting a review. As much as I like Babylon (the show), DVD quality worries me. From what information Amazon posted so far, it seems like there will be no extras, possibly no surround sound, and as to video quality - we can only guess.

    Thats true. I wish they'd give more information on the content. Anyway its just an avenue for voicing our concerns and opinions.

    You are right, I agree that it's important to show that we are very interested.
    I'm just worried about quality... maybe we should organize another letter-writing campaign to get WB to improve DVD quality and add extra bits.

    I agree. When we know that we'll be getting a digital image quality, blooper reels included & surround sound version of B5 here in R2 too ( [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img]), [b]then[/b] I'll write a review.

    Perhaps everyone should write a review of the episodes on the DVD, rather than the DVD itself.

    The way it is now, the Babylon 5 community is a group of people desperate for ANYTHING with the phrase "Babylon 5" on it. WB can use it to their advantage and make inferior-quality DVDs because they know they can get away with it. They cut costs and still charge regular price for the DVD, making a better profit.

    Unless we become more demanding as a community, they will walk all over us -- just because we let them.

    Also, remember that the gathering is not really in the proper format. It was not recorded in Widescreen, nor in surroudn sound, I believe. We shoudl wait at least until Season 1 episodes before commenting on that.
