    Three Saudi princes were among more than 70 defendants, which included several Saudi banks and Islamic institutions, as well as the Sudanese government and the Saudi Bin Laden Group, a construction firm run by Osama Bin Laden's family.

    The lawsuit is aimed at bankrupting people and organisations believed to have bankrolled the al-Qaida organisation, and is closely modelled on the lawsuit brought against Libya for the 1988 bombing of Pan Am flight-103 over Lockerbie.

    The 258-page, 15-count lawsuit was filed electronically yesterday in Alexandria, a suburb of Washington DC near the Pentagon where other cases related to the attacks are under way.

    Well, we flipped a coin to choose between between suing and initiating nuclear armagedon, I personaly was in favor of nuclear armageddon, but they wouldnt make it a 2 out of 3 toss. So maybe next time.

    Most americans would rather settle it with guns, and bombs, but the world would get a little green around the gills watching that

    As much as lawyers are snakes this kinda thing is a bit more civilized.

    Sides there are alot of hands in this mess playing allot of back aley power politics, nothing is ever as simple as any of the sides want to make it.

    Yep. Although I think it's less of a case of killing them and more like exposing them to direct sunlight and watching them crumple to dust.

    I figure you dont need to kill all the lawyers, just alot of them, and keep doing it, to keep the rest scared.. Issue hunting tags for them, establish rules, that kinda thing, I think it would work terrificly!

    Hey I despise layers like the rest of you, but at least the 9/11 survivors are doing a lot more the US government is about dealing with the actual moneymen behind the 9/11 attack. A question, if US did sign up for the ICC could this lawsuit could go somewhere?

    OT. I heard recently that the tough new immigrant laws that apply to Arabs do not apply to the Saudis. As we all know 17 of the 19 terrorists came from Saudi Arabia so this law would actually not stop 9/11 from happening again. It’s the usual BS, lets look like we are doing something to appease the great unwashed without changing anything.
