    Well, there was also that little Persied Meteor shower...

    It's famous for the bright, really interesting (almost fireball-like) bursts that often happen to the chunks of ice and rock as they enter the atmosphere.

    Yeah, I saw some of those meteors monday night, but I didn't see any more bright or fireball like as any regular meteors. I saw much better ones last winter one night. One of them was so bright and big and lasted so long that I could distinguish the meteor and it's tail and follow it for a moment as opposed to the regular short "flashes". It was quite amazing experience. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img]

    The thing is, they're saying this came right down to one particular woman. Meteors tend to burn up well before they reach the ground in most cases, and if one didn't it would be moving pretty fast when it reached ground level.

    Oh. hey. THe date is from before the peak of the showers. My theory is unlikely, then.

    Well...lets hope they're friendly, and make good steak! All that tinkering with the cows should have made them good chefs by now.
