  • And what's with this whole 'Arc' thing? Which dumb fool thought it would be a good idea to make all the episodes relate to one another? I want my Voyager back!

Bah! It was too quiet here old chum.
  • BABYlon 5 is just an infantile attempt to copy the uber perfect Star Trek, i mean, come on, there isn't nearly enough techobabble, instead there is all of this talk about religion and social issues, who wants to see that stuff? Even worse, if you miss an ep, you might not be able to follow the plot..whereas with the brillance of star trek, you can miss an ep or a season here or there and be fine in the next week!

and lets not forget the shitty effects, i mean i can do better on my home machine then that.
  • I don't know what this "Babylonian Five" is... but it seems to me it should be about the BABYLONIANS!!! I mean, wtF?!?!?!? At least STAR TREK is true to it's name! I mean, they litterally ARE trekkin' through the stars! As Dr. Zephran Cochraine said: "And you people... You're all astronauts, on some kind of star trek?!!?"

    :D:D:D:D:D

Also... Star Trek has something that no other show has, that sets it apart from all the other crap on tv. And now, without further ado, I shall tell you what that one ultimately cool thing is:

    THE VULCAN NERVE PINCH!!! ;)

Really!!! Why can't those Babylonians do that?!?!? I mean, come on!! How hard can it be to find a pressure point on someone's body, and pinch it to render them unconcious? Any first grader with advanced knowledge of human biology/neurology (whatever you call it), and the martial arts, could do it!!! Nothin' to it!

Plus... the other thing, as you guys said... No shields. Hmm... I don't know about that. How the HELL do they survive all those manuevers and things? I mean, wouldn't they constantly have to repair their ships and things, from debris damage? Look at our NASA shuttles. They spent thousands of hours on maintenance on 'em, before and AFTER a mission.

You would think that a ship travelling that fast, unprotected, would get torn apart! At least on Star Trek they have shields, so it makes sense. The shields protect the ship from debris, and other things.

Also, on Star Trek, you can die.... but then be brought back in another episode or whatever. Why can't they do that on this Babylonian thing? It's supposed to be in the future, right? So you would think that medicine has evolved enough by then, to allow the ressurrection of the dead. (Up to a certain time)

Anyway... that's my 2 cents. (Or Gold Press Latinum, if you prefer.) In SLIPS, of course! Not Strips, or Bars. :-P I'm no Bill Gates.

P.S. Voyager RULEZ!!! Kate Mulgrew is HOT!!!!! (And she's got a sexy voice, too!)

sorry, but B5 is far better than anything else out there, with the possible exception of stargate. so there!!!!:D
  • Nonono, SG is good, but not B5-level.
  • You can't compare the two, they're both completely different.
